Betty Sebrow

Based in Lawrence, New York, Betty Sebrow works as a matchmaker/Shadchan at Baila Sebrow Events, LLC, since 1982. She has helped coordinate more than 500 successful marriages while serving in this position. She has consistently expanded the business over more than four decades, as an event organizer, and dating and relationship coach. Betty Sebrow balances her career with inspirational lectures around the world, and has previously worked as a High School English teacher. She taught at multiple schools, including Yeshiva of Eastern Parkway and Bnos High School.

Betty Sebrow has held several positions in production and publishing. She was the display advertising production coordinator for The Jewish Press and the producer, co-director, and host of a cable television program in Manhattan. She produces and hosts the political and human interest podcast The Definitive Rap Show since 2020. The founder and director of Neshoma Advocates, LLC, a group providing educational and training services to benefit at-risk youth, she has written about mental health and youth issues for Madraigos.

Ms. Sebrow completed a Hebrew and Judaic studies teachers program at Sara Schenirer Teachers Seminary in Brooklyn. She holds an English degree from the City University of New York, Brooklyn, and a master of arts in journalism from New York University.
